Frozen Otter Ultra Trek

Prepare yourself for one of the most grueling foot races on the planet! While most ultra events take place in the 'comfort' of spring, summer, and fall, the Frozen Otter is held on what is historically the coldest day of the year. Those who are brave enough to try, attempt a 64 mile single track hike on the Ice Age Trail in the Kettle Moraine State Forest Northern Unit. No snow shoes, no skis, no support crew, no staging, just you and your feet. Although hundreds have tried since it's inception in 2006 only 4 people have crossed the finish line with all 64 miles under their belts. For those who want to experience this life changing adventure without committing to the full 64 miles, a half-distance option is also available. "This is the one race everyone has to do one, just so they know how to do it right the NEXT time" Chad Hannon - Racer 2008Next Event Date: January 19, 2013 click here for more information!
